The heavier tailed curve (thick curve) is the probability density function resulting from grouping the data by age. The dots are the calculated null distribution for the differential coexpression coefficient. The x axis is the correlation difference between the two groupings of data used. B. The false discovery rate is shown. Again, the x-axis is the difference between coexpression in older adults and coexpression in adults, when each experiment is normalized to a unit Gaussian.
