  1. The dataset consisted of biopsies from 106 patients diagnosed with one of 7 renal diseases, and compared with biopsies from 60 healthy patients within the same expression analysis batch. A test of significance between the two groups resulted in 747 genes implicated across the 7 chronic renal diseases.
