Flowchart of 13C natural abundance correction algorithm. Starting with isotopologue intensities and CMax given as input, the algorithm precalculates needed binomial coefficients. Next, the algorithm calculates the corrected intensities and uses them to calculate the natural abundance contaminated intensities. Then the algorithm compares the observed and calculated contaminated intensities and only continues for another iteration if an improvement is made.
