The dotted line is fit to the data to compute the degree exponent, γ, in the power-law degree distribution: P(k)~ k-γ. A, E. coli; B, S. cerevisiae; C, P. falciparum. From left to right, the BP-score, CC-score, MF-score, and the funSim score. The degree exponent values are shown in Table 3. The R2value of the fitted line to each distribution is as follows.
