Red and blue indicate the matching and mismatching AIRs between residues and bases, respectively. (A) False complex model: the AIR for Arg80 and GUA2 is mismatched, which results in a complex model in which the protein does not wrap around DNA. (B) True complex model: all the AIRs between residues and bases are nearly matched.
