Large local scales are shown in red, whereas blue indicates small weights. The upper row (A-C) depicts the results of an EM superposition. The lower row (D-F) shows the ensembles of 25 orientations generated by the Gibbs sampling procedure. The ensembles obtained for the Student t and K distribution show little variance as opposed to the ensemble obtained with a Gaussian model.
