Accuracy in mapping boundaries. (A) The differences between observed and known boundaries of alterations are measured for different values of the threshold t. The distance (kb) was measured separately for the start (grey, closed) and end points (open) between the observed and predefined alterations. The relative location of mapped boundaries are divided into those located inside and outside of the predefined alterations. The inset magnifies the section for t gain of 0.08 to 0.14. The error bar shows the 95% confidence interval. (B) The measurement is repeated for single copy loss.
