  1. The table shows the 39 genes that were found to have both promoter and intergenic ETS1 peaks. It is possible that ETS1 binding at the promoters and enhancers of these genes is explained by looping of the distal elements onto proximal promoters. This hypothesis could be tested using chromosome conformation capture based techniques.
