Activation of MAPKs. Phosphorylation status of MPK3 and MPK6 after treatment with Salmonella. Two-week-old seedlings were treated with bacteria for minutes as indicated. Total proteins were extracted and separated on SDS-PAGE. Phosphorylated form of MAK3/6 were detected using the anti pERK1/2 antibody (αpERK1/2) upper gel, the loading was done using αMPK6 antibody on parallel membrane loaded with equal amount of proteins (20 μg). Arrows indicates the 43kDa band representing the phosphorylated form of MPK6.
