Validation. Validation of a predictor of response to therapy. A metaprotein model was fit to the training data (outlined). This model was then used to predict response to therapy in a subset of the training samples that was measured in a different lab using a different machine and different protocols. In addition, it was used to predict response to therapy in a new set of pediatric patients. In both cases, the validation was successful. For the Peds C cohort, the Area under the ROC curve is .8 and the p- value is 4.4 × 10⁻⁴.
