Mapping accuracy in simulated datasets. Mapping accuracy is shown as root mean square error (RMSE) in kilobases (kb) from the known location. The coverage reports the average sequencing depth (reads per marker) in the experiment. Each point is calculated using 100 simulated experiments. The DBN points show the accuracy of the MLE using the MULTI POOL's one-pool test, while the 1-locus test shows the accuracy of directly testing allele frequencies calculated in 1-kb sliding windows.
