The coverage is fixed to 5, and copy number is fixed to 6. The horizontal red dotted lines indicate the ground truth values; the red solid lines indicate the median values; and the red pluses indicate the outliers. It can be seen that our proposed CNV-TV method gives more robust estimate of both the break point position and copy numbers (e.g., with smaller variance) than other methods for CNVs of different single copy length.
