Subfigures (A) and (C) show one side of the wild type and mutant interface (in surface), respectively, and (B) and (D) show side views of the wild type and mutant interface, respectively. The residue GLU104 (in (A) and (B)), and ASP104 (in (C) and (D)), which are in region A, are highlighted in black.
