  1. PhyloCore similarity scores of the simulated datasets. According to the number of barcode sequences, each simulation was replicated 25-fold, for a total of 100 simulated dataset. The scores (mean and variance) are obtained comparing compression-based trees, using NCD, with evolutionary-based trees obtained through all five evolutionary models. The trees were generated using NJ algorithm.
