Similarity between four processes: (A) counting the number of breakpoint or cycles in the breakpoint graph of two genomes evolved by DCJ; (B) counting the number of components in a random graph; (C) counting the number of cycles in a permutation evolved from the identity by transpositions; (D) counting the number of different sites in two binary sequences evolved by substitutions.
