The relationships between Pfam families PF00112 and PF03051 with MEROPS subfamilies C1A and C1B. MEROPS peptidase family C1 contains two subfamilies, C1A and C1B, which both overlap Pfam families PF00112 and PF03051. The extent of the overlap between C1A and PF00112 is much larger than that between C1A and PF03051 and that between C1B and PF0012. In other words the Pfam family PF00112 approximately corresponds to the subfamily C1A rather than at the level of family C1.
