Comparison of the unique probe GO index (UPGI) in three GO domains: molecular function, biological process, and cellular components among three linkage methods (single, average linkage, and complete linkage methods). The probes selected using single linkage were functionally more unique in all three domains than the ones selected using average or complete linkage methods when selecting middle range of number of probes (60 – 442 probes).
