The hypothesis of the family based classifier stated that RPIP elements corresponding to the target's true family should on average be greater than the others. The series in gray illustrates the predicted model where the RPScores corresponding to the CARD family (indices 0 through 304) should be generally greater than the rest. Note, however, that the observed values in black do not agree with the hypothesis, instead showing a generally even trend across all families.
