Amino acids included in alignment are PfMB2 [989–1232] and four annotated P. falciparum contigs from the PlasmoDB database: PFO8_0018 [650–959], translation initiation factor-like protein; MAL61.73 [390–638], putative translation initiation factor, IF-2; PF13_0069 [207–403], putative translation initiation factor, IF-2; PFL1590c [41–340], putative elongation factor G. The three G domain consensus motifs are underlined. Generated by Clustal method (DNAStar) and manual alignment. Abbreviations are the same as in Figure 2.
