  1. The distribution of coenzymes can be seen above: a 60:40 division is present between the NAD and NADP, respectively. The overall distribution between the stereospecificities of dehydrogenase enzymes is as observed previously. Our data is analogous to prior studies (You, 1985; Hallis et al., 1998) which indicated an approximately equal distribution.
