  1. Glucose, lysine, trehalose and Biomass were the decision variables to the linear programming optimizer with the objective function of maximization of carbon dioxide. Values predicted were for the uptake rates of ammonia, oxygen and accumulation rate of carbon dioxide. It was observed that the choice of decision variables of accumulation rates and objective function yielded the same prediction of extracellular accumulation rates.
