Table 1 The Relative Average Depth. This table illustrates the relationship of RAD and the separatedness of two clusters. Two clusters are from normal distribution with mean μ1 = (0, 0)and μ2 = (2, 2). With μ2 changing from (2, 2) to (7, 7), the value of RAD increases from 0.6310 to 0.8081 as cluster 2 moves further away from cluster 1.
