  1. The results are sorted according to e-values (based on BLAST search; [16]). Lengths refer to lengths of miRNA precursors. For each result, the table shows position, RNA fold quality and the identity ratio of the discovered miRNA candidates to the homolog in the original species. The existence of two occurrences for miR-322 and miR-543 (italicized) indicates that two origins (mouse and rat) of the same miRNA were found in Homo sapiens.
