Clustering and functional annotation of miRNAs based on LSI derived associations. UKmeans clustering of the maximally connected component (∼350 miRNAs) of the miRNA graph, in which an edge is assigned if the cosine value is above 99th percentile of all pair-wise cosine values. The functional annotations for each miRNA cluster were selected from amongst the top 300 ranked terms obtained via querying the truncated LSI space with the miRNA cluster
