Both gene sets are significant but the significance of gene set B is partly due to its overlap with gene set A as the latter has more significant genes. 2. Intersection only. This is the special case where the significance of either gene set is purely due to the intersection between both. 3. Subset. Gene set B is a proper subset of gene set A
