Histogram and Q-Q plot of DTWscore based on HSMM datasets. The histogram plot of DTWscores shows that the distribution of values is normally distributed. The linearity of the points in the Q-Q plot is the best proof. Meanwhile, outlier of the distribution appears on the right corner. Thus, genes with DTWscore more than 4 standard deviations above the mean are considered heterogeneous genes
