Each trial contained 20,000 genes, half of which had ΔHEB fixed at a constant value. Results for ΔHEB=2 are not shown as they were too low (mean area for LRT =0.5616, for DEZ=0.5620). The bottom part of the plot shows ROC area constrained to false positive rates less than 0.1.
