Plotting the logarithm of size at birth, Vbirth, scaled with the average volume at bud, 〈Vbud〉, with respect to relative growth in G1 ((Vbud−Vbirth)/Vbirth) quantifies how strong the G1 size control is in daughter (a) and mother cells (b).
