Efficiency is calculated using the formula \( E={2}^{\frac{{\mathit{\log}}_2{F}_i-{\mathit{\log}}_2{F}_0}{i}}-1 \). The Fi and i values for calculation are taken directly from Additional file 2: Dataset 1, wells A1 through A6. Since F0 value is unknown, it was selected from the range of theoretically possible F0 values (covering 0.007–0.0002) and used in the formula
