Assessing methylation predictions genome-wide on 100 bp windows. For all 100 bp windows on hg18 with at least 75% mappable bases and with at least 10 reads of RRBS coverage, the ROC curve is plotted to assess the methylation predictions from three configurations of BayMeth. The y=x line is marked in dotted black. The larger the area under the curve (AUC), the better the method serves as an indicator of a window’s methylated/unmethylated state: BayMeth-calcSssI (0.948) > BayMeth-SssI (0.936) > BayMeth-noSssI (0.925)
