The image intensity coding process of center pixel in frequency domain. The two imaginary parts of monogenic signal in the X and Y direction are compared to the threshold value 0. The comparison result is mapped into the four quadrants, and four quadrants respectively stand for four 2-bits codes, “00”, “10”, “11” and “01”, as the image intensity code. As the value of X-direction and Y-direction imaginary part are 0.24 and − 2.4, the image intensity binary code of element is “01”
