Table 2 Validation of cBASE. 176 expression plasmids were compared with the corresponding amplified cDNA sequences. An expression recommendation by cBASE was considered false-negative if the software recommended against using the plasmid, although upon manual inspection the differences between plasmid and amplified were negligible (and most likely due to sequencing quality artifacts)
