  1. The selection proportion is the number of times a relevant group being selected divided by the number of simulation runs. The \({\left\Vert {X^{(j)}}^{\top } U\right\Vert _2}/ {\sqrt{p_j}}\) is a measurement of group importance. It provides more information on the stability of the group selection procedure. We simulate groups with varying sizes to investigate the influence of group size on the group selection performance of GO2PLS
