Contrastive-sc clustering compared to ground truth. The comparison of predicted and ground truth clusters on 4 scRNA-seq datasets (Quake Limb Muscle, Muraro, Romanov, Young) is displayed. Our methods (contrastive + KM and contrastive + LD) clustered the same embedding and we also illustrated the ground truth in this space. All plots present a 2D t-SNE projection of the underlying embeddings. contrastive + LD consistently overestimated the number of clusters in the data and performed best on datasets with a large number of clusters
