Local sensitivity robustness results. The histograms represent the pooled response coefficients for the sensitivity of the iRBCs, Y, for the probability of infection of RBCs with free roaming merozoites, \(\beta\), obtained for all 10,000 parameter sets. The wild type response coefficients obtained with local sensitivity analysis is visualized as black dashed lines. All results shown here indicate good robustness of the local sensitivity results as the wild type response coefficients correspond to the most probable response coefficient in a population (the peak of the histogram)
