SEMplMe predictions agree with in vitro experimental methods. A. SEMplMe agrees with previously published protein binding microarray (PBM) data of methylated and unmethylated binding sites for 8 transcription factors (R2 = 0.67) [10]. B. SEMpl shows a reduced correlation with PBM data compared to SEMplMe (R2 = 0.56), suggesting the addition of methylation data improves methylated sequence predictions. C.
