The UMARS service can be divided into two subservices: for discovering viral genomic regions (UMARS:Vir); and discovering novel alternative splicing exon-exon junctions (UMARS:EEJ). Un-mappable reads must be processed by NRP to solving redundancy problem before uploaded to UMARS.
