The heatmap (a) andheatmap.2 (b) functions are limited to displaying a single color bar.The heatmap.plus (c) function can display a matrix of color bars. The heatmap_plus (d) function can display a data frame of binary variables. While heatmap.2 and heatmap.plus can produce a rectangular image, both heatmap and heatmap_plus produce a square image as output.
