The empirical cumulative distribution function describes the number of proteins for which the ratio of binding site residues within a Pfam domain over binding site residues outside of a Pfam domain is equal or greater to the value specified on the x-Axis. In analogy to the above (b) shows how small molecule binding sites specified in PDB motif overlap with Pfam domains.
