Prom top to bottom (3 initial nodes (black), 4 initial nodes (red), 5 initial nodes (green)), we show with lines the results of CT(k) obtained by means of Eq. (8). (B) The lines have the same meaning as before and the diamonds correspond to the experimental data for reactions from the KEGG database [14]. Experimental data involves 163 organisms. Circles (red): Experimental data binned into seven intervals according to degree (1 <k ≤ 8 <, ..., 128 <k ≤ 256, 256 <k ≤ 512). Figures in log-linear scale.
