  1. The relations among molecular events, attributes (continuants) and drug interactions shown in Figure 2 were implemented as OWL properties. We defined five properties for implementing molecular event objects in OWL-DL in addition to the properties of OBO Relation ontology. Three properties for resultant, trigger, and situated participants were defined as sub properties of oboRel:has_participant, inheriting the definition of the super property. Note that classes for Domain and Range of properties are denoted by the controlled vocabulary defined in Figure 3.
