Genetic tools for Drosophila. Two Gen1 driver lines with broad expression are crossed using Split-GAL4 to create a new driver line with the intersection of the parent lines’ expression pattern. Images are color depth maximum intensity projections (CDM), where the blue color indicates the anterior of the brain and red the posterior. Upper section shows one of three MCFO channels as a CDM.
