The 4-mer frequency spectrum (Figure. 1A) gives the 4-mer spectrums of two DNA fragments from two different E-coli genomes. (Figure. 1B) gives the 4-mer spectrums of two DNA fragments from single E-coli genome. (Figure. 1C) gives the 4-mer spectrums of two DNA fragments from the genomes of E-coli and Lactobacillus which belong to the same Kingdom but different Phylums.
