The red region indicates the error evaluated using a hierarchical metric. (b) Our proposed method correctly identifies the gap as a small geometric error corresponding with a single missing connection. (c) Our method can also identify a geometric distortion, even though there is no resulting error in topology. (d) Despite this error, edge mapping is consistent across the test case and ground truth.
