Simulation results showing how vesicle release is sensitive to a decrease of the parameter c on from 0.3 (reference case, see Figure 3) to 0.1, in the case of wave-like Ca2+ uncaging. See legend of Figure 3 for details. It can be observed that no release happens (compare to the reference case of Figure 3, right side).
