The time taken to compute the mesh displacements and warp the 3D image using meshes of varying resolution; where N is the number of nodes in the mesh, tdisp and t _warp are the distance and warp evaluation times. The displacement evaluation time is proportional to the number of nodes (correlation coefficient 0.9999), whereas the warp evaluation time is proportional to the square root of the number of nodes (correlation coefficient 0.9996).
