Comparison of QuSAGE and Q-Gen analysis for the M8.83 unannotated gene set. Results are organized as follows: QuSAGE across the top, Q-Gen across the bottom. The left column provides the fold change estimates of testing changes over time relative to baseline, and the right column for testing symptomatic versus asymptomatic at each time point. Each comparison’s significance level is color coded based on its FDR adjusted p-value for that particular comparison across all 260 gene sets. Q-Gen’s VIF estimation is more conservative at almost three times that of QuSAGE. This yields wider confidence intervals and more conservative p-values across all of the comparisons under Q-Gen
