CPD Rigid Alignment: CPD Rigid was used to align each of the 7 manually labeled NeuroPAL individual worm point clouds to the tested atlases, after cropping of the heads and tails. The figure shows how the median accuracy for these 7 worms depends on the number of unique colors used. For each number of colors \(n>1\), the colors were randomized and assigned to each neuron in both of the tested point clouds according to neuron identity, and CPD Rigid was run for each color such that it was only able to take into account the points that corresponded to the currently analyzed color
