Examples of GMMchi analysis on known differentiation markers: here we show examples of known differentiation markers that are positively and significantly associated with CDX1, a biomarker for colonic epithelial differentiation identified by phenotype association with lumen formation. All genes exhibited a well-defined bimodal distribution of expression levels consisting of two subpopulations.
