  1. The amount of time to pull and save all the entries of a given database on a single process (one core) compared to pulling across multiple processes (multiple cores). The above values result from running kegg_pull on a 12 hyper-threaded core machine using 12 processes for multiprocessing and one process for single-processing. The sleep time and all other options for each were also constant. Files were saved in a regular directory
